ADVERTISING AWARDS AND WHAT IT MEANS FOR OUR COMPANIES

I have been writing on my blog for some time and this is the first time I shamelessly promote our companies. So forgive me and please continue reading.

In the past week, we have been very fortunate to have won several awards:

Adsmovil FOMLA Award (1)

  • At the Festival of Media Latin America in Miami:
    • Gold for Best Use of Programmatic: Audio.Ad and Cadreon (IPG’s Trading Desk)
    • Bronze for Best Mobile Campaign: Adsmovil and Magnum Ice-cream campaign in Ecuador
  • At the Mobile Marketing Association Smarties Awards in New York:
    • Gold with Magnum Ecuador – Brand Awarenes
    • Bronze with Amopé Brazil – Product- Services Launch
    • Bronze with Amopé Brazil – Location Based

Why do I think this is a big deal? Well, there are different metrics for growth, such as revenue and number of employees. And since we started this adventure 3.5 years ago called Cisneros Interactive we have grown in both these metrics.

However, none of these metrics mean much nor are they sustainable if we are not meeting client needs and offering an excellent service and innovative products. So these awards are an indication that we are doing this, and a reminder of how far we have come from our small and humble beginnings in 2012.

So while revenue and team size is important, I am especially proud of winning these awards because it tells me that we are contributing to our industry and that we are selling quality services and products. I am so very proud of our team and their accomplishments.

So sorry for boasting a little bit, but I hope you agree that this a good reason to self-promote!

He estado escribiendo mi blog por un tiempo ya, y puedo decir que ésta es la primera vez que promuevo descaradamente a nuestras compañías. Así que por favor discúlpenme y sigan leyendo.

La semana pasada, tuvimos la fortuna de recibir varios premios:

  • En el FOMLA (Festival of Media Latin America) en Miami:
    • Oro por Mejor Uso de Programmatic: Audio.Ad y Cadreon (IPG’s Trading Desk)
    • Bronce por a la Mejor Campaña para Móvil: Adsmovil y campaña para los helados Magnum en Ecuador
  • En los “Mobile Marketing Association Smarties Awards” en Nueva York:
    • Oro con Magnum Ecuador – Brand Awareness
    • Bronce con Amopé Brazil – Lanzamiento de Servicios del Producto
    • Bronce con Amopé Brazil – Location Based

¿Por qué me parece tan importante? Bueno, existen diferentes métricas para valorar el crecimiento, tal como ingresos y el número de empleados. Y desde que comenzamos hace 3.5 años esta aventura llamada Cisneros Interactive, hemos crecido en ambas métricas.

Sin embargo, ninguna de ellas significa mucho ni es sostenible, si no estamos cubriendo las necesidades de los clientes, ofreciendo un excelente servicio y presentando productos innovadores. Así que estos premios, para mí, son un indicador de que lo estamos logrando, y un recordatorio de lo lejos que hemos llegado desde nuestros humildes comienzos en el 2012.

Así que aunque los ingresos y el tamaño del equipo son importantes, estoy sumamente orgulloso de haber ganado estos premios porque esto indica que estamos contribuyendo a nuestra industria y que estamos vendiendo servicios y productos de calidad. Estoy muy orgulloso de nuestro equipo y sus logros.

¡Lamento mucho si llegué a sonar un poco pretencioso, pero espero que estén de acuerdo en que ésta, es una buena razón para auto promovernos!
